Imported 2026-09-14. Veymont filters the source to 1,192 records explicitly associated with KJV passages. All identification alternatives, representative coordinates, source scores and bibliographic identifiers are retained. Ancient boundaries are not inferred from modern land outlines. Source confidence scores express the source's estimates, not probabilities independently established by Veymont.

Display rule: no coordinate = unlocated; one positioned identification and score >=950 = known in the source; one positioned identification and score 500–949 = probable; multiple or lower-scored identifications = tentative/disputed. Source alternatives remain inspectable regardless of the display label.

Journey lines connect selected places in the order of the cited biblical narrative. They do not reconstruct precise roads, nautical courses, every intermediate stop, or the size of ancient territories. The third missionary journey includes principal named stops, not a complete itinerary. The captivity view joins endpoints, not an attested road.

Stable data: /api/v1/atlas, /api/v1/atlas/{id}. Each place links back to the original bibliographic record. Changes from the source consist of filtering, HTML removal, coordinate validation, and passage IDs. No third-party source images or OpenStreetMap geometry are included.
