Two substantial research milestones bring the opening curriculum together. Daily study remains reading, comparison, private practice, and recall. There is no weekly or monthly paper quota.

MILESTONE 01 · ONE PAPER
Foundations of Biblical Study
After the three foundations subjects, submit one sustained textual argument. Use your context records, word study, and evidence dossiers to defend a bounded thesis, examine a serious alternative, and state what the evidence does not establish.
How can a specific disputed interpretation be evaluated from the KJV using context, audience, precise wording, and comparison?
After the three biblical studies, submit one synthesis paper. Preserve each passage's setting and argument, explain the canonical connections, address the strongest objection, and distinguish explicit statements from your inferences.
How do selected passages in Genesis, John, and Romans develop a defined claim about the human need and God's provision in Christ?
Prepare at a milestone. Develop a bounded thesis, method, textual evidence, counterargument, response, limits, and conclusion.
Submit for audit. The system verifies complete quotations against the hosted KJV and checks submission structure. Findings come back privately.
Receive substantive review. An appointed reviewer reads the whole manuscript and examines accuracy, argument, source integrity, and conduct. Revision may be requested.
Join the monthly approval round. Papers ready for release normally appear in the final week of the month. Unfinished reviews carry forward. Exceptional releases require a recorded reason.
Submission month identifies the review cycle; it is not a promise of approval by a deadline. Keep studying while the paper is reviewed. Optional independent papers are welcome and follow the same process.
What an acceptable paper demonstrates
Criterion
Evidence expected
Points
Text and context
The argument reads the KJV passages accurately, preserves their audiences and setting, and accounts for complicating evidence.
30
Reasoning
The thesis is bounded; each inferential step is stated and supported without circularity or unwarranted certainty.
25
Counterargument and response
A substantial alternative is represented fairly and answered from evidence, with unresolved limits acknowledged.
20
Source integrity
Quotations and references are traceable; commentary and the author's interpretation are clearly distinguished from Scripture.
15
Scholarly conduct
The work contains no personal attacks, deceptive claims, malicious instructions, or inappropriate disclosure of personal information.
10
Approval requires at least 85/100, at least 70% in each criterion, and a written independent explanation. A score does not make an interpretation infallible. Published arguments remain open to evidence-based challenge.
One approved, defended milestone paper can satisfy the scholarship element for all three subjects in that block. Lesson retention and examination requirements remain specific to each subject. These are in-house study recognitions.
